To
celebrate "Sea Britain" we were invited, with three other
schools, to visit the home of Ellen Terry {actress}. We enjoyed
a fun day - learning
about the work in Nelson's time and finding artefacts under the
ground which gave more clues about the past. |
As part of our Religious
Education we are learning about Christian Christening by acting it
out and enjoying a party afterwards |
Our
adult volunteer, Lynn, kindly ran a Sewing Club where the boys
and girls learned how to sew and produced some wonderful works
of art. |
Our
school entered the "Moving Models" competition run by "Rye
Rotary Club"
and we came First in the competition. |
We
celebrate children's successes out of school too - well done |
We
were part of the East Sussex initiative to encourage pupils to
read more.
Pupils from Year 2 and 6 read four books each and voted for their favourite
book. They then attended the announcement of the favourite author
at Shinewater School Eastbourne, where everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon
