On Wednesday
27th June the children from Diamond and Sapphire Classes went on a
Creative Partnership trip to Dungeness,
as part of their “Sound” work.
The children listened to sounds in the environment, visited Derek Jarman’s
garden to look at his sculptures made from reclaimed items and rubbish
and then beach combed for shells and stones with holes in that they could
use to make home-made instruments for a “sound tree” at school.
We finished our visit with lunch at “The Pilot”. It was great! |
