The children, as a class, would like to buy one goat {£27 for one goat} for a poor family in Africa through the charity organisation 'Farm Africa'. This charity gives a loan of a goat to a family for breeding, and when the goat has had babies she is returned to the charity for loan to other families.

We discussed all this in class, and the children have shown great enthusiasm and would very much like to buy a goat. So we organised a sponsored 'colouring and cutting out of goats' for a wall display in our classroom, which took place on Thursday 9th March to raise money to buy a goat.
